My Chiari Life: Bray's Big News

Hi,

It's me Bray!!

A lot of you have been asking my humans when they are going to have a baby human, and I mean, why wouldn't you? Look how good they look with human kids (sorry human cousins I cut out)!

And face it, this family has a lot of good looking human babies hanging around lately. I don't blame all of you for being baby hungry!

But becoming a parent is a big decision, and mom has been really up and down lately with her headaches. She and Dad decided they really need to think through having a child and when it is the right time to bring a human into the world. Mom has a doctor appointment on Monday with her neurosurgeon, and Dad has been researching lots of things to do for Mom so that her headaches can go away without taking all those harsh medicines. Mom can't take most her meds she is on when she is pregnant. They have been talking a lot, and they ask me all the time if I want a sibling. I do, and I want a brother!

That being said, I thought I would take the time to announce that I am a--

Yup! That's right. Mom and Dad have decided now is not the right time to bring a human into the mix, because there is going to be a lot of exploring for Mom's health. Mom has been "puppy hungry" for awhile now and Dad really needs another one around the house to take his side, and Aggie does just that. So, now let me introduce you to my little sister.

Agatha Grayson
(Aggie Grey- Yeah, Mom thinks she is creative)

Aggie is a ball of energy and keeps us all on our toes. She likes to bite my ears and tail. I like to sit on her and help her scratch behind her collar. I eat her food and she eats mine. I like to sleep on her bed and she likes to sleep on mine. Basically, we are best friends already. Dad loves her and she is always following him. In the little while she has spent with us she has learned to walk on a leash, sit, and knows her name. I'm worried she may be smarter than me. But I'm still Mom's favorite.

Who Used All the Black Crayon?

Guys, I am used to about 14 views each post. That's it (which is weird, because I post every blog link to my family's Facebook group and there are 40 of us in there... Thanks guys!). I was not expecting that many hits on one post, but I got it, and it has sparked a lot of conversation that I feel to be very productive. I have been so honored by the respect I have been given from those who’s opinions differ from mine, and the dialogue we have been able to have on the matter of race in today's society. Some of the best conversations have come from the, "But why?" question. But why is that offensive? On Facebook I shared this Vox link , so I won't get into that, but I do want to take some time to talk about taking offense. Life is a collection of experience. After one is written into our book, the next experience will be affected because of it. In kindergarten, I had a true Corrina, Corrina experience in class, when someone asked, "Who used all ...

"i'm a magician!" so, there has been funny stories of how we have all met and we have all clearified that i am a mix! ... because really boys i look full?!?!? it's the silliest pick up line (my pick up line is i like your shirt?! i dont know.... but it works!) anyways... so last night at dinn...

A Little Birdie Shower

I am so in love with this little girl, I mean how could you not be? Look how adorable she is? I may be a little bias, but my niece is the cutest in the world. Not only is she the cutest, she is also quite possibly the most spoiled little girls in the world.  And has been even before she was born.  I've been meaning to post pictures of the shower I hosted for my little sister way back at the beginning of March, but hey, life happens.  The nursery is decorated in little birds, and my sister had asked me to make a couple things she had found on Pinterest for her, so I figured I would just tag team and couple the theme of the shower with the theme of the nursery. That way everything could be reused and nothing went into the garbage.  I made 4 different invites, but de decided in this one to send out. How cute and classy is it? Love.  Baby Girl has a huge family! So we knew we needed to host the shower at the church. Our family events usual...
